Jianxin Chen was born in 1973 in China. He has a master Degree in Computer Engineering(2002) from Nanjing University of Posts&Telecommunications(China) and a PhD in Electronic Engineering(2007) from Shanghai Jiaotong University(China). His PhD primarily concerned the algorithm design and network protocol implementation.
After graduation he was a lecturer in the Computer School of Nanjing University of Posts&Telecommunications.
In May 2008 he joined the IPP-HURRAY group to do research on multiprocessor scheduling algorithms.
